A Harvard-trained psychiatrist and on the faculty for 17 years, Dr. Carol Locke worked with depressed adults and, while searching for improved treatment options, found research showing that omega 3s aided depression and mood disorders. This research led her to formulate the highest concentrated and purified form for her patients that she called OmegaBrite. Dr. Locke came to Casey & Sayre when she realized that many of the growing number of children being given strong anti-psychotic drugs to treat ADD, ADHD and other mood disorders could be helped with large doses of Omega 3s with no serious side effects. Casey & Sayre launched a major media campaign for Dr. Locke to speak out about the problems associated with the drugs that were untested on children and the alternative treatment option of Omega 3s. Dr. Locke was ahead of the curve trying to educate the media and parents on this critical issue, later verified by scientific studies that are being widely reported.
